The Chateau & Accomodation
The Chateau
The Château was reconstructed in 1887 but it's origins date back to the 14th century. It is located on the outskirts of Pissotte in the department of the Vendée. The Château sits in 25 acres of land, which adjoins the Mervent Forest.
The Chateau's tranquillity and rural setting provide an ideal location for learning.
We hope the peace and quiet will aid your concentration and the fresh air will help you sleep.
We hope that when you leave you will be more knowledgeable and confident. Ready for your new life in France!
Accomodation
We offer full board accommodation adjacent to the château with access to the château grounds, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. All rooms are thoughtfully designed, in keeping with traditional French interiors.
All guests have their own en-suite bedrooms with television (French of course!)
Each room has it's own balcony or terrace overlooking the tranquillity of the surrounding forest and paddocks.
All lessons, meals and activities take place within the Château. In the evening this is an ideal place to relax and socialise with other guests. During your evening meal you will have plenty of time to discuss the day's events and practise your French!
During your stay you will be able to sample traditional dishes from the Vendée such as mojettes jambon, potée vendéenne, farci vendéen and more.
