We have been running Residential French language course for the last five years and have received some wonderful feedback in that time - here are some of our more recent testimonials...
One often embarks on such a course with misgivings and trepidation. Le Poiron serves as the most splendid and easy introduction to French life, culture and language - it's situation is idyllic being on the edge of a huge natural forest, close to a large dam and yet offering easy access to villages and towns on the best roads I've ever driven on. The proprietors of Le Poiron are a National Treasure.

Françoise is a wonderful teacher and communicator. The mix of lectures and visits was very good also and we were never bored. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the course (and our hosts) surpassed our expectations. The grammar was explained clearly, our pronunciation corrected patiently and explained in ways, which we haven't seen in any books. Opportunities to speak to and listen to French people were excellent. The accommodation and food were excellent and the friendliness of Françoise and Mark unbeatable. We would like to finish by saying that we enjoyed it immensely.

I thought the method of teaching was excellent. It was given in a very concise and practical way with hints and tips along the way. I especially liked the mixture of tuition in the classroom and then being able to put it into use on the activities.
For anyone wanting an immersion course which they can go on their own- this ticks all the boxes.Francoise et el are so friendly and ensures your stay is an enjoyable one.
